Our beliefs make up who we are

what we believe

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three distinct Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Our core values

The Bible as our Sole Authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Bible is our manual for daily living. We base everything that we do according to God’s Word. We use it for discipline the members of CCC. Members are responsible to read, meditate, memorize, study and apply God’s Word regularly.

Submission and Respect to the Pastors and Spiritual Leaders (Hebrews 13:7)
The Pastors and Elders are ordained by God to lead, feed, guide and care for the congregation, that is why all members have to submit themselves to the authority of the Pastors and/or other spiritual leaders assigned to them.

Prayer (Philippians 4:6; Acts 1:14)
We believe in the power of prayer, and that makes a critical difference in all we attempt to achieve. We are to be a house of prayer for all nations. Members are required to involve themselves in a regular prayer group.

Equipping and Discipleship
(Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4: 11-17; Acts 2:46-47)
We believe in equipping the saints for ministry and life by helping them operate in their spiritual gifts. Members are required to involve themselves in a connect group. We believe that the growth and maturity of every disciple will be sustained through regular group prayer and fellowship of connect members.

Corporate Praise and Worship (John 4:24; Heb 10:25)
We always desire the manifest presence of God in all our gatherings that is why corporate worship is vital. In corporate worship, the Holy Spirit is able to move freely, and God is able to do His will for the church.

Tithes and Offerings (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 8:9, 9:6-10)
We believe that God wants to bless us more and more, and that He is glorified when we give. We teach the members the principle of biblical prosperity — to give tithes and mission offering to the Lord faithfully. We give 10% of our income to support the work of the Lord. We give love offering and sacrificial offering to workers, missionaries and other people who are in need. Yes, we love to give!

Holy and Blameless Living (1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
We aim to be honest and genuine and to walk blameless before God and men. We do not tolerate sin in the church. We take corrective measure on erring members for complete restoration.

Family (Joshua 24:15; Deuteronomy 6:1-9)
We believe there is nothing more important than strong united families.

Excellence (1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
We believe excellence honours God and inspires greatness. We pursue and do the best we can with the gifts and abilities God gives, giving our best to the glory of God.

Connecting to the Community (Matthew 5:16; 1 Chronicles 16:24)
We believe in connecting to the community in a spirit of genuine relationship, servant leadership, and providing care and compassion services that will address their needs. We will be a lighthouse that will allow the light of Jesus to shine that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.
